I have been interested in birds since childhood. At the age of 10 I took my first bird pictures with my father’s camera. Since the advent of digital photography I have taken to bird photography in an intensive way and now, after travelling to countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, it has become my main interest.

At 16 I bought my first camera in order to photograph ringed birds. An avid birder, on my travels at home or halfway around the world I always encountered birds to photograph. With the launch of the website biofotoquiz.ch my interest grew but it only really took off with the advent of digital bird photography. Here I am a longtime tour guide for Liberty Bird – Ornitour, supported by a network of professional suppliers of bird photo tours across Europe.
